What’s the news at the Lakeview National Golf Course – as of November 12^th 2008.

We have some great news!! – While golf season is northern Minnesota may be over, and while winter may be just around the corner, it’s only about 18 weeks till its time to trade those rakes, shovels and scrapers for drivers, irons and putters.  So between taking advantage of all the winter recreation opportunities that the area has to offer, all you snowmobilers, ice-fisherman and woman, skiers, dog sledders, tobaggoners, and including all of you who enjoy watching the snow fly from the comfort and warmth of a roaring fire while enjoying indoor activities, take some time to work on your swing and get ready to watch “The Masters” beginning April 6^th in 2009. Then it’s off to the first tee here at Lakeview National!

In 2008 the Lakeview National Golf Course made a commitment to the areas golfers to improve the condition of the course and become one of the areas top golf venues. According to some of you we delivered on that promise, but nobody ever said that we were done, in fact, we are just beginning! Rome wasn’t built in a day and we are continuing to expand on the commitment to continually improve the quality of the property and create an area wide golf facility worthy of the trust that our golfers have shown to us.  We’ve come along way, but if you want to be the best, the best can never rest! We invite you to come and be a part of our 2009 season and see for yourself what we have accomplished so far, and what the future still has in store for us. The best is yet to come!

We appreciate all the golfers who call Lakeview National their golf home and we invite everyone to see what pride of ownership is all about.  We sincerely appreciate the effort of those many individuals who took their time to help with the voluntary clean ups, it’s because of people like these who want to help us to succeed, that we are committed to returning the favor. The best is truly yet to come, and we’re sure that you will enjoy and appreciate the progress.  And to the individual who stated that our ball washers aren’t necessary, we believe they are!

Will Rogers said he “never met a man he didn’t like” at the Lakeview National Golf Course we’ve never met a golfer we didn’t like!  We invite you to bring us your golf stories because you’re only a stranger here once! We look forward to seeing you and all of your friends at the Lakeview National Golf Course, “a jewel on the North Shore”, and according to one of our friends, “The Jewel on the North Shore!”
